My name is Ashley, and I'm a 28-year-old mother and wife.
My daughter is two years old. And my husband is the love of my life. :-)

I'm a former journalist, turned stay-at-home mom. And every so often I do some modeling work, for a talent agency based in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
I live in a quiet town in Ohio, full of wonderful people.
And THIS is where I've become OBSESSED with making our house more of a home.
I've always loved decorating and remodeling, but the DIY urge really kicked in after my daughter was born. Having a baby, and being at home more -- it all made me pay SO much more attention to the details around me. And, once I started looking around, I couldn't stop seeing things I wanted to change!
Once I started to change things, I couldn't stop PERIOD. And now, I feel compelled to share my passion here, at EHM, with you! :-)
My decorating style is somewhat vintage inspired, with cottage flair. I like almost anything rustic, handmade looking, or antique. And I want every room in my house to have feeling.
I'm a bit of a photographer-wannabe. (As I'm sure you'll find out.) And I love candid photos the BEST. They are definitely part of my decor as often as possible.
I'm currently in the middle of SEVERAL projects at once. And I am SO EXCITED to get blogging!
Also, I named this blog "Everything Home Means," because I want to talk about exactly that: everything that home means. So, be prepared for the intermittent recipe post, or kid-friendly craft. I can be random like that ;-).
